I am the Chief Procurement Officer for the University System. The inherent nexus procurement has with sustainability, such as dealing with global supply chains, along with my strategic planning background, has made me a natural fit to help our University System continue its great work on sustainability. Hey everyone, my name is Anna. I am a master's student in the School of Natural Resources, and I am currently working on finishing up my thesis and graduating this semester. With graduation just around the corner, the time has come to start wrapping up my time serving as the Offices of Sustainability's Communication Specialist and reflecting on the past two years.
In a tucked-away corner of East Campus hidden behind the College of Law lies a small plot of land where students gather each week to connect, learn, and grow food for their peers. It is called the Student Organic Farm.
I’m Richard Wahl manager at Landscape Services I have been with the university for 51 years. I have worked and or over seen different operations through my tenure with the University. Includes Equipment maintenance, Landscape construction, Hardscape construction, Snow duties, Signage and Site amenities, and Recycling and Waste management (2002-2020). As our Department works to provide students, faculty, and staff a safe and inviting campus setting and environment.
Emily Deeker is the Director of Campus Planning and Environment for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In this position she serves as the Campus Planner as well as the Campus Landscape Architect with responsibilities for the implementation and updating of UNL’s Physical Campus Master Plan and ensuring alignment of the campus physical environment with the University’s strategic plan.
