Hello! My name is Sam Spethman, and I am a junior this year at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. This year, I will be directing the Environmental Leadership Program (ELP), which is an environmentally focused organization under ASUN student government. I have been involved in ASUN since my freshman year, and it is an experience that I would not trade for the world. ASUN has introduced me to so many friends, peers, and resources that I can use to help make campus a safer, greener place for all students.

The inherent nexus procurement has with sustainability, such as dealing with global supply chains, along with my strategic planning background, has made me a natural fit to help our University System continue its great work on sustainability.
