Students utilize the bus system to get to, from, and around City and East campuses every day. When asked about the campus bus system, UNL students shared their thoughts about the availability of this sustainable transportation option. Using public transportation has many sustainability benefits, including saving money on gas and reducing carbon emissions.
UNL partners with StarTran to provide campus bus service for the UNL community. To travel between East and City campuses, passengers can utilize routes 24 and 25. Options are also available for transport to Nebraska Innovation Campus.
Effective October 17th, bus passes for bus ridership will return. Faculty and Staff with parking permits can receive a bus pass at no additional cost. If you do not have a parking permit, you may purchase the bus pass separately. More information on the return of bus passes can be found in the following article.
