Anna has served as a Sustainability Program Assistant since 2022. She started working at UNL in 2019 for the School of Natural Resources and then served as a Communications Specialist for the Office of Sustainability beginning in 2020.
In her role, Anna primarily focuses on education and outreach initiatives. This work involves developing education programs that help UNL community members develop sustainable habits and contribute to a culture of sustainability. Anna is also a member of the UNL All Staff Conference Planning Committee.
Education
Anna earned a Master of Science degree in Natural Resource Sciences from UNL. Her research focused on investigating the motivations and barriers of instructors incorporating sustainability into their higher education courses. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries Resources and a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Resources from the University of Idaho.
