Sustainable Transportation

Transportation is one of the ten themes of UNL’s Environment, Sustainability, and Resilience Master Plan. UNL is committed to developing an integrated transportation system that promotes a culture of sustainable transportation among UNL community members. UNL holds two awards from the League of American Bicyclists for its committment to creating and maintaining infrastructure to make biking on campus more accessible. UNL participates in several partnerships to promote sustainable transportation to the campus community, including a partnership with the City of Lincoln to provide cost-effective public transportation, and a sponsorship of BikeLNK stations to reduce the cost of short-term bike rental.
