Mia Perales is majoring in Environmental Engineering and minoring in Political Science. Mia is from Omaha, Nebraska. She is the Outreach Liaison for Sustain UNL and a board member of the Nebraska Sierra Club. Mia is interested in going into a career in renewable energy and public policy. She enjoys lobbying for environmental legislation, spending time outdoors, and being involved on campus.   

Mia’s go-to sustainability practices on campus are taking the bus, using a reusable water bottle, and bringing a plant-based lunch from home every day (in reusable containers).
